What is E-Learning?

E-learning is a learning approach that is based on formalized instruction but uses electronic resources. While education can take place in or out of the classroom, E-learning is primarily dependent on the use of computers and the Internet. E-learning is a network-enabled transfer of skills and knowledge in which education is delivered to a large number of people at the same time or at different periods. Previously, it was not widely recognized because it was considered that this method lacked the human factor necessary for learning.

However, with quick technological advancements and advancements in learning methods, it is now widely accepted. The arrival of computers was the catalyst for this change, and as we become more reliant on smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices, these gadgets are increasingly being used in classrooms for learning. Electronic educational materials, such as optical discs or pen drives, are progressively replacing books. Knowledge can also be disseminated over the Internet, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anywhere and at any time.

In the corporate sector, e-learning has proven to be the most effective method, particularly when MNCs conduct training programs for professionals around the world and employees are able to acquire important skills while sitting in a board room, or when seminars are held for employees of the same or different organizations under one roof. Schools that embrace E-learning technology are ahead of the game compared to others who still take a traditional approach to learning.

Without a question, it is critical to advance the concept of non-electronic education through the use of books and lectures, but the value and effectiveness of technology-based learning cannot be overlooked. The human brain is thought to be capable of remembering and relating to what is seen and heard in moving pictures or films. Visuals, in addition to maintaining the student's attention, have been discovered to be kept by the brain for extended lengths of time. Agriculture, medicine, education, services, business, and government institutions are all adjusting to the concept of E-learning, which aids in a country's advancement.
