What is Outbound?

There are two different types of calling procedures adapted by business process outsourcing organizations. Inbound and outbound are these two popular calling procedures respectively. In outbound procedure, an agent initiates and makes calls to the customers on behalf of the organization. This calling procedure is called outbound because the calls go to outside of the organization. BPOs generally have both these two types of calling facilities and outbound calling is made for customer verifications, for researches and surveys and for telemarketing as well. It depends on the organizations that which type of BPO services they want to opt for.
